ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Lover of good wine and sappy hallmark movies, Jaclyn grew up spending most of her days riding horses on her Fathers's farm and assisting her Mother in downtown Portland shooting fashion photography. Naturally, it was the juxtaposition of these two different worlds that lead Jaclyn to her love of modernly structured, yet timelessly organic design.

Realizing her calling, Jaclyn found herself pursuing a visual communications degree at Los Angeles' Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising while simultanously designing Anthropologie’s displays in Beverly Hills. It was one fateful Cinco De Mayo night on the bustling streets of LA where she crossed paths and fell in love with a passionate artist from New York. After graduation, she followed her love to the city of Manhattan where she joined Urban Outfitters’ Visual Design Team creating protoypes for company wide success that quickly gained her recognition. When not at her day job she spent countless hours at museums, underground speakeasies, art galleries, and frelancing on prestigeous sets like Beyonce and Lady Gaga’s Video Phone Music Video which won BET’s 2008 Music Video of the Year. After marrying she and her husband made the decision to leave Manhattan in pursuit of their next great adventure, starting a family in her home town and leading her family in the renovation of a historic schoolhouse turned wedding and event’s venue that’s been awarded the Couple’s Choice Award both 2019 and 2020.

Now residing in the Alberta Arts District with two children and a loving New Yorker husband; beauty in everyday life is more apparent than ever. Mixing art with the intention of everyday use is what propels her design direction today; knowing to her core that good design outlasts trends and should not only reflect a clients' aesthetic and personal style but most importantly facilitate the way they want to live in their space.
